Recently, Shandong Baier Testing Co., Ltd. has successfully passed the evaluation organized by Shandong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and obtained the Certificate of Assessment for Crop Seed Quality Testing Institutions. This marks that the Company’s seed testing laboratory has acquired official statutory qualification for crop seed testing, elevating its comprehensive seed testing service capability to a new level.
The on-site audit was conducted at the end of August. The expert panel from Shandong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs carried out a comprehensive and thorough assessment of the Company’s seed testing laboratory. The panel focused on reviewing the establishment of the laboratory’s quality management system and the implementation of relevant regulations. Technical personnel’s practical operation skills were assessed on-site. Rigorous evaluation covered multiple dimensions including laboratory hardware, process control, technical competence and record management, to fully verify the Company’s comprehensive technical strength and standardized management in seed testing. Following strict review, all indicators of the laboratory complied with the Measures for the Administration of Assessment of Crop Seed Quality Testing Institutions, and the laboratory passed the assessment successfully.

The laboratory is equipped with a complete experimental system for seed pre-treatment, nucleic acid amplification and DNA sequencing, as well as Thermo Fisher DNA sequencers. It is capable of conventional seed quality testing and DNA molecular testing. In particular, it specializes in variety authenticity and purity identification services based on SSR fluorescent marker capillary electrophoresis technology.
